Whip up delicious crab-stuffed mushrooms for a quick and impressive appetizer using fresh, canned, or imitation crabmeat.
Ingredients:
  • 7 ounces crabmeat
  • 5 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground savory
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.33333334326744 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
  • Collect all your ingredients and heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix together crabmeat, green onions, thyme, oregano, savory, and pepper. Stir in mayonnaise and 1/4 cup Parmesan until thoroughly combined. Chill the filling until needed.
  • Clean mushrooms with a damp towel, remove stems, and scoop out gills and base to create deep cups. Discard discarded gills and stems.
  • Using a rounded teaspoon, generously fill mushroom caps with the filling. Arrange them in an ungreased baking dish and delicately sprinkle Parmesan and paprika on top.
  • Roast mushrooms in a hot oven until warmed, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Enjoy while the dish is still hot!
