Impress your guests with these savory crab and cheese stuffed mushrooms!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons minced green onion
  • 1 cup cooked crabmeat, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1.5 pounds fresh button mushrooms, stems removed
  • 0.5 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 0.25 cup dry white wine
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a skillet, melt a luxurious 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté the green onion until it becomes tender and fragrant, which should take about 2 minutes. Next, transfer the cooked green onion to a bowl, and combine it with the crabmeat, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup of divine Monterey Jack cheese, an egg, fresh lemon juice, and aromatic dill weed. Mix until all the ingredients are perfectly combined.
  • Drizzle the melted butter into a 9x13-inch baking dish, ensuring all mushroom caps are coated in butter. Stuff the mushroom caps with the crab mixture, then top with the remaining 1/2 cup of Monterey Jack cheese. Finish by gently pouring white wine into the baking dish.
  • Bake until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown, for about 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven.
