Upgrade your ham and turkey with a cranberry liqueur glaze instead of red wine for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup whole cloves
  • 1.5 cups cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.33333298563957 cup red wine
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Instructions:
  • For a beautifully flavored ham, gently score the surface and stud it with whole cloves. In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix cranberry sauce, orange zest, brown sugar, red wine, and mustard. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Set aside once done. If using the sauce for turkey, incorporate the whole cloves while cooking for an extra burst of flavor.
  • Apply half of the glaze before roasting the meat and brush the remaining glaze over during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
