Exciting twist on lime parfait using cranberry sauce in whipped cream for a winning Thanksgiving dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 0.5 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (14 ounce) can low-fat sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.5 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup cold whipping cream
Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbling. Stir in sugar for about 1 minute. Add graham cracker crumbs and cook until color deepens, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate to cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend condensed milk and cranberry sauce with a hand mixer until thickened. In a separate bowl, beat whipping cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, then fold into the cranberry mixture.
  • In individual wine goblets or glasses, alternate layers of 1/4 cup cranberry mixture and 1 tablespoon crumbs. Chill for at least 1 hour, up to 4 hours before serving.
