Decadent brunch: cream cheese bagel with maple bacon and banana.
Ingredients:
  • 8 rashers streaky bacon
  • 84.38 gm maple syrup
  • 4 bagels, split and toasted
  • 100g Light Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • 2 bananas, sliced diagonally
  • Maple syrup, extra, for drizzling
Instructions:
  • Coat the bacon generously with maple syrup and bake on a rack in a preheated 180°C oven for 10-15 minutes. Brush intermittently with more maple syrup until the bacon turns golden and crisps up lightly.
  • Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on the bagel bases. Top with sliced bananas and crispy bacon. Finish by drizzling with a touch of maple syrup before serving hot.
