Cream cheese Kolacky pastries filled with your favorite fruit jam. Double the recipe, they'll disappear quickly!
Ingredients:
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup any flavor fruit jam
  • 0.33333334326744 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients.
  • Cream together the cream cheese and butter until velvety.
  • Mix in the flour gently until fully incorporated. Form the dough into a ball, cover the bowl, and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  • Heat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into 2 1/2-inch squares and add 1/2 teaspoon of jam or preserves in the middle of each square.
  • Gently fold opposite corners together and press to seal. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden, for about 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool on wire racks, then dust lightly with confectioner's sugar.
