Satisfying, comforting side dish with classic flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 2 large bunches English spinach, trimmed, chopped (see tip)
  • 126.25 gm thickened cream
  • Pinch nutmeg
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, sauté garlic and spinach in oil until spinach begins to wilt, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Stir in cream and a pinch of nutmeg. Season generously with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then lower heat to medium and let it simmer for 2 minutes, until the spinach wilts and the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot.
