Spinach cooked in a creamy, nutmeg-infused sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound fresh spinach
Instructions:
  • Combine heavy cream, butter, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly, then reduce heat and simmer.
  • Steam fresh spinach until it wilts, then drain in a colander and press out excess water using a spoon.
  • Pulse spinach in a food processor until coarsely chopped, then gently fold into the creamy mixture. Bring to a quick boil and then remove from heat.
