Indulge in a nostalgic orange and vanilla cheesecake for a taste of childhood.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 2 drops yellow food coloring
  • 1 drop red food coloring
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C).
  • Using an electric mixer, blend cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract until batter is smooth.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine one cup of the cream cheese mixture with orange extract and a few drops each of yellow and red food coloring, stirring until the batter turns smooth and vibrant orange in color.
  • Spread the uncolored batter into the prepared graham cracker crust. Spoon dollops of orange batter over the top, then swirl with a knife to create a marbled design.
  • Bake until edges are firm and center is slightly loose, for 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours up to overnight.
