Creamy Bacon-Broccoli Cheese Dip

Indulge in a decadent broccoli and cheese dip topped with crispy bacon bits.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen broccoli & cheese sauce
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne), if desired
  • 4 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
  • Crackers, as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • Prepare broccoli with cheese sauce according to package instructions. Transfer the cooked broccoli to a large bowl. Using kitchen scissors, chop the broccoli into smaller pieces. Mix in cream cheese, half of the Cheddar cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ground red pepper, and crumbled bacon until fully incorporated. Spread the mixture into an ungreased ovenproof dish (at least 2 cups capacity), placed on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake until golden and bubbling, about 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  • Present alongside crispy crackers for a delightful pairing.
