Transform beet greens into a creamy and nutritious side dish with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons water, or more as needed
  • 1 bunch beet greens, stems removed and leaves chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat, then cook beet greens in water until wilted, for about 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, cook until most of the liquid evaporates, then add garlic and cream. Simmer until the cream thickens, approximately 5 minutes.
