Creamy chicken noodle soup

Ingredients:
  • 18.40 gm oil
  • 1 brown onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 500g chicken breast, diced
  • 1L chicken style liquid stock
  • 150g fettuccine, broken into short lengths
  • 150ml cream
  • 23.40 gm wholegrain mustard
  • 10.00 gm cornflour
  • 2 shallots, finely sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large pan, heat oil and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant. Add the chicken and brown it.
  • Pour in the stock and bring it to a boil. Gently mix in the fettuccine and let it simmer for about 8 minutes until it's tender.
  • Mix the cream, mustard, and cornflour, then stir into the soup. Simmer until slightly thickened, add the shallots, and serve.
