Creamy Garlic Pasta Primavera

Exciting skillet dinner ready in under 30 minutes using frozen pasta and veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size strips
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 bag (24 oz) frozen pasta, broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas & garlic sauce
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh basil leaves, if desired
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until no longer pink in center.
  • Add the water and a delightful mix of frozen pasta and vegetables to the pot. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, giving it an occasional stir, until the vegetables are heated through. Then, mix in the luxurious whipping cream and bell pepper, and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until everything is piping hot.
  • Remove from heat. Add cheese and allow it to melt for 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with basil and serve, optionally topping with more shredded Parmesan cheese.
