Indulgent basil pesto sauce with Parmesan, garlic, olive oil, butter, and cream cheese for a luxuriously creamy finish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of water to a lively boil. Drop in the basil leaves and cook for 2 to 5 minutes until tender and vibrant green. Drain the basil, saving 2 tablespoons of the flavorful basil water.
  • In a blender, combine fresh basil, 2 tablespoons of basil-infused water, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, butter, and garlic. Blend until velvety and smooth.
