Creamy Potato Lasagna

Try this tasty potato lasagna with ham or smoked turkey for a fun twist on the classic dish, perfect with a side salad.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced lengthwise about 1/8 inch thick
  • 5 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups diced ham
  • 1 (10 ounce) package chopped frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), and gently grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine Alfredo sauce and milk, whisk until smooth. Spread 1/4 cup of the sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Layer 1/3 of the potatoes over the sauce. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a separate medium bowl, toss together the ham, broccoli, and 1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese until combined. Spread a layer of 1/3 of the ham mixture over the potatoes in the baking dish. Add another layer of potatoes, followed by the remaining ham mixture. Finish by topping everything with the remaining Swiss cheese and Parmesan cheese. Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the top.
  • Bake covered in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), uncover the dish, and bake for an additional 25 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Allow it to stand for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
