Traditional pumpkin pie recipe passed down from grandmother, using only fresh pumpkin for exceptional flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups fresh pumpkin, cooked and mashed
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Combine pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth and pour into pie crust.
  • Preheat the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Then, reduce the heat and continue baking for 35-40 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean.
