Creamy Wild Rice

Slow-cooked creamy herbed wild rice for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked wild rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Rinse the rice with cold water and drain. Combine the rice and all other ingredients (except parsley) in a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Cover and simmer on a Low heat setting for 8 to 9 hours. Sprinkle with fresh parsley right before serving.
