Crispy Buffalo chicken wontons, the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer - deep-fried to perfection!
Ingredients:
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 0.25 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1.5 teaspoons hot pepper sauce, or more to taste
  • 20 wonton wrappers
Instructions:
  • Heat up aromatic vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan until it reaches 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a bowl, mix the chicken, Cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, butter, and hot sauce. Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper, fold them in half, and press to seal. Place the wontons on a baking sheet and freeze for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Gently submerge wontons in hot oil in batches and fry until beautifully golden, for about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Repeat with the remaining wontons.
