Crispy Buffalo wings coated in tangy sauce, perfect for game day snacking.
Ingredients:
  • 12 small chicken wings
  • 0.25 teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) bottle Buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank's®), or to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • Gently sprinkle seasoned salt over chicken wings.
  • Combine flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and paprika in a wide, shallow bowl. Coat wings with the mixture and place in a single layer on a large plate. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Coat wings once more in the flour mixture and place them back on the plate. Chill in the refrigerator for another 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) until hot and shimmering.
  • Fry chicken wings in hot oil until golden and crispy, for about 10 to 12 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for doneness, ensuring it reads 165°F (74°C) near the bone.
  • Place the crispy wings in a spacious bowl, then generously drizzle the delectable sauce over them and mix until completely coated.
  • Indulge and savor every delicious bite!
