Quick and tasty seafood dish that will win over your family.
Ingredients:
  • 750g squid tubes
  • 125.00 ml flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • Extra light olive oil
  • Lemon wedges
Instructions:
  • Prepare the squid by washing and drying the tubes, then cutting them into 8-10cm rings. Season flour with salt and pepper. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Pour a generous amount of extra light olive oil into a saucepan, making sure it is about 10cm deep. Heat the oil over medium heat until a bread cube dropped into it turns golden in 10-15 seconds.
  • Dredge a portion of the squid in seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Fry until golden, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towel, then place in oven to stay warm. Repeat with the rest of the squid. Season with salt and pepper and serve with lemon wedges.
