Delicious Cuban sliders with honey mustard, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles on Hawaiian rolls, topped with a tangy cornichon. A flavor-packed bite-sized delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12-oz.) pkg. Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 rolls)
  • ½ cup honey mustard
  • 12 oz sliced deli ham
  • 6 oz sliced Swiss Cheese
  • ¾ cup dill pickle slices
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 12 cornichons
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Halve Hawaiian rolls horizontally while holding your knife parallel to the cutting board. Place the roll bottoms in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish.
  • Spread the cut sides of the roll bottoms and tops with flavorful honey mustard. Create layers on the roll bottoms with delicious deli ham, thinly sliced Swiss cheese, and tangy dill pickle slices. Place the roll tops back on and brush them with melted butter before sprinkling them with aromatic poppy seeds. Finally, cover the baking dish to seal in all the flavors.
  • Place the dish in the oven covered for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the filling is heated through and the tops are lightly browned.
  • Take out of the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Create delectable sliders by cutting them into individual servings and elegantly topping each one with a flavorful cornichon secured in place with a toothpick.
