Try these adorable strawberry-shaped cupcakes made with cake mix, frosting, and fruit snacks for a fun and tasty treat! Great for dessert any time.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
  • 1/4 teaspoon Betty Crocker™ red gel food color
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Creamy White Frosting
  • 1 box (4.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Fruit by the Foot™ green chewy fruit snack rolls
  • 1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups. Create strawberry-shaped cupcakes by pinching in one side of each paper baking cup. Secure the shape by inserting a 1/2-inch ball of foil between the liner and muffin cup.
  • Prepare, bake, and allow the cake mix to cool according to the instructions on the box to make delicious cupcakes.
  • Blend food color into frosting until fully incorporated. Frost cooled cupcakes to resemble strawberries. Cut chewy fruit snack into leaf shapes and place them on top of the cupcakes. Add chocolate chips on top of the frosting to mimic seeds. Store with a loose cover.
