Curried sausages

Savory curried lamb sausages paired with fluffy rice for an affordable and tasty dish.
Ingredients:
  • 12 lamb sausages
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 56.00 gm korma curry paste
  • 2 tsp plain flour
  • 1 golden delicious apple, grated
  • 382.50 gm chicken style liquid stock
  • 300.00 gm steamed basmati rice, to serve
  • Coriander leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. In a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Cook sausages in batches for 8 to 10 minutes until nicely browned, then transfer to a plate.
  • Pour the rest of the oil into the pan. Sauté the onion for 4 minutes until soft. Stir in curry paste, flour, and apple. Cook for 1 minute while stirring. Slowly add the stock and bring to a boil. Place the sausages back in the pan and simmer for 2 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve curried sausages and coriander over a bed of rice on plates.
