Whip up delicious tacos in just 30 minutes with Curtis Stone's recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 500g Beef 3 Star Mince
  • 1 garlic clove, very finely chopped
  • 5.00 gm Ground Paprika
  • 3/4 tsp Ground Cumin Seeds
  • Pinch of Mexican Chilli Medium (optional)
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 250g brushed potatoes, cut into 1cm pieces
  • 8 Tortillas
  • 120g sour cream
  • 500.00 ml shredded iceberg lettuce
Instructions:
  • Heat a large frying pan over high heat and add beef, garlic, paprika, cumin, and chili powder. Season with salt and pepper, cook while stirring frequently for about 6 minutes until the beef is browned and crisp. Transfer to a bowl and wipe the pan clean.
  • Heat the pan on high, then add oil and heat until smoking. Add the potatoes and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until very crisp on all sides. Discard excess oil from the pan and season potatoes with salt. Stir in the beef mixture and toss for 1 minute or until heated through.
  • Heat the tortillas according to the instructions on the packet.
  • Spread a generous layer of smooth sour cream on the tortillas. Pile on the flavorful beef mixture and fresh lettuce. Serve alongside extra dollops of sour cream for an extra creamy touch.
