Classic pecan pie, no corn syrup, rich custard, irresistible.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup pecan halves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine brown sugar, flour, margarine, milk, vanilla, and eggs in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour mixture into pie crust and top with whole pecan meats arranged decoratively.
  • Place in the oven that has been preheated to 350°F and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is firm.
