Delicious Danish pork burgers made with ground pork, eggs, saltine crackers, and onions, fried to perfection. Serve with tangy Dijon mustard.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 red onion, finely diced
  • 16 saltine crackers, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for cooking
  • Dijon mustard for serving
Instructions:
  • Combine ground pork, saltines, onion, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, using your hands to mix everything together until well combined.
  • Sear the patties: Brush a large nonstick pan with vegetable oil and heat over medium-high. Form 8 pork patties and place them evenly in the pan. Flatten them with a spoon and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve with Dijon mustard.
