Elevate your dinner party with decadent stuffed dates paired with bold coffee.
Ingredients:
  • 20 fresh dates
  • 100g blanched whole almonds
  • 40g (1/4 cup) icing sugar
  • 2 tsp rose water (see note)
  • 2 drops red food colouring
Instructions:
  • Carefully remove the pits from each date by slitting them lengthwise. Combine almonds, sugar, rose water, and food coloring in a food processor to make a paste. Form small almond-shaped pieces from the paste and stuff them into the dates. Gently score the paste and enjoy with a refreshing cup of mint tea.
