Easter-themed dessert with dark chocolate glaze and festive decorations.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix package for cake-like texture
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 3 oz chopped good quality dark chocolate*
  • 12 to 24 pastel candy coated chocolate eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and generously grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Prepare the brownie mix following the instructions on the box, using water, oil, and eggs. Bake for 24 to 26 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out almost clean. Allow to cool completely.
  • Heat cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until almost boiling. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until melted and smooth, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Drizzle the rich chocolate mixture over the cooled brownies, gently spreading it with a small spatula for a perfectly even layer. Decorate the brownies with colorful pastel candy coated eggs, placing them evenly across the top - use 12 for larger brownies and 24 for smaller ones. Enjoy the delightful presentation!
  • Chill the brownies for 30 minutes, then slice into large pieces of 4 rows by 3 rows, or smaller pieces of 6 rows by 4 rows.
