Crispy zucchini spiralized and fried, perfect side for seafood.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 1 zucchini, cut into spirals using a spiral slicer
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine egg and milk in a bowl and transfer to a gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Mix flour and cornstarch in another bowl and transfer to a separate gallon-size resealable plastic bag.
  • Coat zucchini spirals in milk mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Place zucchini in flour mixture, shake gently to coat completely, and remove any excess flour by shaking gently.
  • In batches, fry the zucchini spirals in hot oil until crispy and tender, about 2 to 4 minutes. Place the fried zucchini on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil, then generously sprinkle seafood seasoning over them.
