Elevate deviled eggs with savory diced ham for an irresistible twist on a classic dish. Perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 12 eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 oz fully cooked ham, diced
  • 1 jar (2 oz) diced pimientos, drained
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Place eggs in a 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven in a single layer and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let stand covered for 20 minutes. Finally, cool the eggs quickly by running cold water over them or placing them in ice water until completely cooled.
  • In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except for ham, pimientos, and parsley.
  • Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise, reserving the egg white halves. Add the egg yolks to the mayonnaise mixture and whisk well. Gently blend in the ham and pimientos.
  • Fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture, then delicately arrange them on a serving plate. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley before covering and refrigerating until ready to serve.
