Ingredients:
  • 24 quality prunes
  • 24 blanched whole almonds
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 rashers of higher-welfare smoked streaky bacon
Instructions:
  • Remove pits from the prunes and make a small cut. Season almonds with sea salt, drizzle with oil, and stuff inside the prunes. Cut bacon slices in half crosswise, then wrap each prune. Arrange on a lined baking tray, cover, and refrigerate. When ready to cook, preheat oven to 190ºC/375°F/gas 5 and take the prunes out of the fridge. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until bacon is crispy. Serve promptly.
