Tangy pickle salsa with tomatoes, jalapeños, lime, dill pickles, and pickle juice for a zesty kick.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced dill pickles, or more to taste
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped onion
  • 0.25 cup dill pickle juice
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Combine the tomatoes, dill pickles, onion, dill pickle juice, cilantro, jalapeño pepper, lime juice, sugar, salt, red pepper flakes, chili powder, cumin, and black pepper in a bowl and mix well.
  • Chill the bowl, covered with plastic wrap, in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
