Delicious pork dumplings with red curry, garam masala, cilantro, and spicy peanut sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 0.5 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons red curry paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 cup water as needed
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix pork, onion, cilantro, red pepper flakes, red curry paste, garam masala, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder thoroughly. Set aside. In another bowl, combine flour and water gradually until a soft dough forms. There might be excess water. Roll dough into thin circles, forming walnut-sized balls.
  • Spoon 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture onto each wrapper. Moisten edges, fold in half to make a half moon shape. Repeat for all wrappers. Steam dumplings over 1 inch of boiling water, covered, until glossy, for about 10 minutes.
  • For the sauce: Mix peanut butter, cayenne pepper, sugar, and vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 30 seconds, then stir. Enjoy with the dumplings.
