Vodka-soaked tart cherries turn into a delightful cherry bounce liquor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups pitted tart cherries (such as Door County cherries)
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar, or to taste
  • 1 cup vodka, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Add cherries to a pristine 1-quart glass jar, then pour in sugar. Fill the jar to the top with vodka. Seal the jar with a lid and shake gently. Initially, the cherries will float before gradually sinking over time.
  • Place the jar in a cool, dark spot for 1 to 4 months, giving it a gentle shake from time to time.
