Easy and delicious lasagna-inspired dish with creamy cheeses like cream cheese and cottage cheese for a lighter option. Picky eaters approved! Top with Parmesan for extra flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 12 ounces cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a cozy 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Prepare the egg noodles following the instructions on the package.
  • As noodles cook, sauté beef and onion in a skillet until browned. Reduce heat, mix in tomato sauce, simmer for 1 minute. Add cream cheese and cottage cheese, blend well. Combine with cooked noodles and sour cream, then transfer to a casserole dish.
  • Place in the oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes until golden brown. Season to perfection with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
