Convenient homemade brownie mix perfect for emergencies or gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Create beautiful layers in a 1 quart or 1 liter jar by adding the ingredients as listed. Don't forget to include a tag with the instructions.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan by greasing and flouring it. In a large bowl of an electric mixer, combine 1 cup of softened butter or margarine and 4 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the Brownie Mix and beat until smooth. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
