Satisfy your cravings with this decadent chocolate treat.
Ingredients:
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) milk
  • 30g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 8.80 gm vanilla extract
  • 150g McVitie’s Dark Chocolate Digestive biscuits
  • 80g (1/4 cup) chocolate hazelnut spread, plus extra, to serve
  • Icing sugar, to dust
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan-forced, then grease a 1.5L (6-cup) ovenproof baking dish.
  • Combine the condensed milk, milk, cocoa, flour, egg, and vanilla in a large jug, whisk until smooth.
  • Layer half of the biscuits, chocolate-side down and slightly overlapping, in the prepared pan. Spread half of the chocolate hazelnut spread evenly over the biscuits. Pour half of the milk mixture on top. Repeat with the remaining biscuits, spread, and milk mixture. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
  • Let the cake sit in the pan for 10 minutes, top with extra chocolate hazelnut spread, sprinkle with icing sugar before serving. Enjoy warm, and pair with vanilla ice cream if desired.
