Simple drop biscuits perfect with butter & jam or paired with sausage gravy.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, cream of tartar, and salt in a large bowl. Mix in the butter and milk until just moistened. Using a tablespoon, drop batter onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake until edges turn golden in preheated oven for 8 to 12 minutes. Serve while warm.
