Eastern North Carolina BBQ Sauce

Easy no-cook Carolina vinegar BBQ sauce with cider vinegar, white vinegar, brown sugar, cayenne, and hot sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™), or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid, mix white vinegar, cider vinegar, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, hot pepper sauce, salt, and pepper; shake vigorously.
  • Chill the sauce, giving it a shake now and then, to let the flavors meld for 1 to 2 days. It can be refrigerated for up to 2 months.
