Make tangy hollandaise sauce with just one saucepan and five ingredients for a perfect brunch addition.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup very cold butter, divided
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1.5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1.5 tablespoons water
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt 1/4 cup butter with egg yolks, lemon juice, and water. Stir constantly for about 5 minutes. Then, add the remaining 1/4 cup butter and continue to stir until melted and well combined for another 5 minutes. Season with cayenne pepper.
