Indulgent pumpkin custard pudding, a holiday must-have.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1.5 cups white sugar, divided
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and pour the melted butter into a 2-quart baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, 1 cup sugar, evaporated milk, flour, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and baking soda. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the pumpkin mixture.
  • Bake in the oven until the center is firm, approximately 30 minutes.
