Quick, budget-friendly Black Beans and Rice dish. Protein-packed and loved by all. Easy recipe using GOYA® Canned Beans for a delicious meal that will be requested often.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon Goya Recaito
  • 1 Goya Bay Leaf
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can Goya Black Beans, undrained
  • 1 tablespoon Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Goya Golden Cooking Wine
  • 1 packet Sazon Goya without Annatto
  • 0.5 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Goya Oregano Leaf, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Goya White Vinegar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Goya Cumin, or to taste
  • Goya Adobo with Pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups cooked Canilla Extra Long Grain Rice
Instructions:
  • - Pour 1/4 cup water into a 4-quart saucepan heating over medium. Add the first 10 ingredients to the pot. Let the bean mixture come to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 10 minutes until flavors meld. Remove and discard the bay leaf; season the beans with Adobo to taste.
  • Divide the beans among the serving plates and serve the cooked rice alongside.
