Savory ham and broccoli quiche, loaded with Cheddar and onions, nestled in a flaky crust. Perfect for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups diced cooked ham
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C).
  • Place fresh broccoli in a microwave-safe glass bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave in one-minute intervals until tender, for about 5 minutes. Drain any excess liquid and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, let the butter gently melt until just sizzling. Cook the onion and garlic in the butter until the onion turns slightly see-through, which takes about 5 minutes. Add the ham and broccoli to the onion mixture, then spoon everything into the pie crust.
  • Combine cheese, milk, eggs, and black pepper in a bowl, then pour over the ham mixture in the crust. Sprinkle with paprika for a pop of flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
