Decadent chocolate shortbread cookies, effortlessly baked in a pan - no rolling or cutters needed.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Combine the flour and cocoa powder in a bowl.
  • Cream butter in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer until creamy. Incorporate sugar and vanilla extract until well mixed. Gradually add the flour mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, until the dough resembles damp sand.
  • **Gently pat the dough into a 9x13-inch baking pan, then slice it into 1x2-inch rectangles. Use a fork to make a few light pricks on each rectangle.**
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top looks dry and the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Allow it to cool before removing from the pan.
