Effortless English Quiche Lorraine: A breakfast crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 0.75 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C), then elegantly line a shallow casserole dish or 8-inch pie plate with a puff pastry sheet, ensuring it covers both the bottom and sides beautifully.
  • Whisk together milk, eggs, spinach, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Spread a layer of cheese on the pastry crust in the baking dish; top with ham. Pour the egg mixture over the ham and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Arrange tomato slices over the cheese.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
