Easy lamb kofta kebabs recipe

Deliciously spiced lamb kebabs, perfect for a summer BBQ everyone will love.
Ingredients:
  • Squeeze of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 bunch fresh coriander leaves
  • 12 pita bread pockets
  • 200g labne
  • 200g hummus
  • 1kg lean lamb mince
  • 1/2 large red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 1.25 gm ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp whole cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp whole fennel seeds
  • 125.00 ml finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 62.50 ml finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • 1 long red chilli, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well using your hands until the garlic, onion, spices, and herbs are evenly distributed throughout the kofta mixture.
  • Divide the kofta mixture into 12 portions using damp hands. Shape each portion into a thick sausage around a metal skewer. Refrigerate on a plate for 20 minutes to enhance flavors and set the kofta.
  • Heat up the barbecue grill on high.
  • Sear the kofta until they are golden brown and cooked through, turning frequently, for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Drizzle lemon juice over the kofta, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and plate alongside pita bread, labne, and hummus.
