Easy and delicious noodle kugel with apple sauce and cinnamon - an irresistible dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups applesauce
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 eggs, beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) so it's ready to work its magic. Gently oil a 9x13-inch baking dish to give your dish the perfect canvas for baking.
  • 1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a vigorous boil. Add the egg noodles, stir well, and cook uncovered until al dente, about 4 to 5 minutes. Drain thoroughly.
  • In a pot, melt butter and combine drained noodles, cottage cheese, salt, and applesauce. Mix in sugar and cinnamon. Add beaten eggs and stir well to blend everything. Pour the mixture into a prepared baking dish.
  • Bake until the top is beautifully golden, approximately 1 hour.
