Shaking beef noodle salad

Spicy wasabi paste elevates this delicious noodle salad.
Ingredients:
  • 20.00 ml Wasabi Paste
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) teriyaki marinade
  • 36.60 gm fish sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 500g thick beef sirloin, cut into 2-3 cm pieces
  • 100g pkt dangmyeon noodles (sweet potato noodles)
  • 2-54.60 gm peanut oil
  • 250g punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 bunch watercress, rinsed, sprigs picked
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together zesty wasabi, savory teriyaki marinade, flavorful fish sauce, minced garlic, and a hint of sugar. Add the beef and ensure it's thoroughly coated in the delicious marinade.
  • Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the packet.
  • Heat half of the oil in a smoking hot wok. Cook half of the beef for 1-2 minutes until seared but still rare in the center or to your liking. Transfer to a dish and keep warm. Repeat with the rest of the oil and beef. Remove beef from the wok, then add the remaining marinade and cook until reduced and sticky. Toss the beef back in to coat.
  • Assemble noodles, tomato, and watercress on plates. Finish with beef and onion on top.
