Savory pizza rolls: quick, customizable, and oh-so-delicious!
Ingredients:
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough (such as Pillsbury®)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 6 large slices deli pepperoni
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 10 thin small slices pepperoni
  • 0.25 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 small bunch fresh parsley, stem removed and finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously spray two cake pans with nonstick cooking spray.
  • On a lightly floured cutting board, shape the pizza dough into a rectangle by rolling it out.
  • Coat the pizza dough generously with pizza sauce to your liking.
  • Layer the dough with alternating slices of large pepperoni and mozzarella, then top with small pepperoni slices.
  • Carefully roll the dough into a jelly roll, ensuring the filling stays inside, and pinch to close. Slice into 1/2-inch rounds and place flat in cake pans. Tuck the ends as needed and sprinkle each slice with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake until golden brown in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Combine fragrant olive oil, freshly chopped parsley, and minced garlic in a wide bowl. Gently coat piping hot pizza rolls with the aromatic garlic oil mixture.
