Easy Pumpkin Beer Bread with Pepitas

Pumpkin ale and pepitas atop spicy beer bread that can be tailored to your taste.
Ingredients:
  • baking spray
  • 3 cups baking mix
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2.5 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) bottle pumpkin ale
  • 2 tablespoons pepitas (shelled green pumpkin seeds)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with baking spray.
  • Combine baking mix, white sugar, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a bowl. Mix in beer until smooth. Transfer batter to the loaf pan, then sprinkle pepitas on top.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick comes out clean, around 50 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
